Torn out are two, perceivably angry men from Essex whose acoustic anarchy was recorded in their living room earlier this year. This two track taster (kindly given to anyone who requests it) is acoustic, melodic punk with a hint of ska – the kind of songs you here when you’re a bit mash up at free party.
The Unique Selling Point (oh shit, we can’t talk business – it’s a punk zine!) is the authenticity, and passion of the vocals. The Torn Out chaps obviously mean what they say, a refreshing commodity in comparison to today’s over produced, over autotuned musical world (now I sound like your dad!).
This EP is just a taster, and presumably, Torn Out still have more to offer. Personally, I’m intrigued to hear what they sound like with a full band as the vocals would really suit it.
