I guess it takes someone to die in public before people sit up and really consider the use of Police Brutality. The amount of ‘officers’ present at the G20, to safeguard what used to be one big street party is fucking ridiculous and a prime example of state control. Whatever happened to the peaceful protest? Wait, it never really existed…
Anyway, I don’t want this to turn into a rant, but Ian tomlinson deserves justice from the aggressive arms of the law. As does Charles De Menezes, and the countless others who have had to suffer at the hands of those created to ‘make us safer’…condolences to his family.
